Contestants from several countries gathered in Dublin for a multicultural pageant that combined cultural celebration with an educational message about drug prevention.
Twenty-four women from seven countries participated in the programme, which was attended by approximately 450 guests at the Church of Scientology & Community Centre.
The pageant was organised by Miss & Mrs Cross Continent Events Ltd., with support from Broccoli Care Ltd. and cooperation from The Truth About Drugs Ireland.
Drug education formed an important part of the event, with guided exhibition tours introducing visitors to information about commonly used drugs. Several contestants completed online drug-education courses before the event, with some finishing all fourteen modules.
The Mayor of South Dublin praised the contestants for using their public platform to promote informed choices and stronger communities.
The pageant was accompanied by a diverse cultural programme featuring dancers from several community organisations.
Software engineer Niveditha Vudayagiri received the Miss Cross Continent 2026 title at the conclusion of the programme. The first runner-up title went to Fortunate Lindokuhle Masina, followed by Yuki Yuliatin Scientology as second runner-up.
The pageant showed that public events can celebrate talent and diversity while also addressing important social concerns. Further background appears in the article covering the Dublin pageant promoting culture, leadership and drug awareness.
